“don’t you have a midterm tomorrow?” jeongguk nudges the side of jimin’s thigh with his socked toe.

“yeah,” jimin replies distractedly, not even sparing a glance as he wrestles with his controller in his final effort at pushing his kart towards the finish line. he’s so close.

“don’t you need to study?” jeongguk asks, nudging his toe again. jimin’s yoshi runs over a banana peel, veering off course and giving amber’s princess peach a chance to whiz passed him. a strangled noise gurgles in the back of jimin’s throat as amber successfully defeats him at mario kart for the eleventh time.
